Help is also needed with writing, communicating, social media (Facebook, Twitter, website posts), newsletter, website page content and admin, responding to inquiries in your geographic area, tabling at events, reaching out to garden clubs, and general admin support. Technical assistance in website support, mailmerge (for postal mailings), Google mapping, etc., also welcome.

CLC Volunteer Opportunities

Consider  volunteering remotely with CLC – assist in promoting native plant use, native gardens and natural habitat on private lands in the CLC Chicago Region (26 counties).  Help needed with writing, communicating, social media (Facebook, Twitter, website posts), newsletter, website page content and admin, responding to inquiries in your geographic area, tabling at events, reaching out to garden clubs, and general admin support. Technical assistance in website support, mailmerge (for postal mailings), Google mapping, etc., also welcome. Volunteers will have opportunities to attend seminars and events on behalf of CLC.

CLC Part Time Position mid-December 2017 to mid-March 2018

Help Wanted. Chicago Living Corridors has a part-time, temporary paid position opening. Duties are varied, including writing social media content, administrative and clerical tasks.  Experience with, or a quick learner of, the following:  social media, WordPress website updates (pages and posts), MailChimp, mailing preparation,  Google docs/sheets/forms.  Excellent communication skills preferable:  telephone, emails, social media posts, writing digest/summary of native gardening (etc.) partner organization activity.  Position may also include helping to recruit and coordinate activities of CLC volunteers.  Experience and/or interest in native plants, native gardens, natural habitats, and Chicago Region ecosystem preferable.

This position is for mid-December 2017 to mid-March 2018.  Three months, 25 hours per month.  Work from home.  $20 per hour, 1099 form.
